Interblock has promoted Burton Poitras from Account Executive for our Canadian region to the new position of Vice President of Sales, Canada and Northeast, United States. Poitras is now responsible for all sales activities in Canada and Northeast United States including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Burton Poitras will be present at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas in Interblock’s booth, #1239, meeting with new and existing customers.
Interblock Global CEO John Connelly said, “The market’s demand for Electronic Table Games in North America has risen drastically since Burton first joined Interblock. I am confident that Burton will hold a key role in leading our growing sales team and will be a major player in expanding our footprint throughout the Canadian and Northeastern region.”

Poitras is a seasoned gaming sales expert who has brought nearly 15 years of sales knowledge and experience to Interblock. Before joining Interblock, Poitras served as Senior Account Executive for GTECH, where he was promoted two years later as a Director of Casino Sales. In that role, Poitras was responsible for all North American casino sales and managed the sales team. Poitras previously worked for Aliant Canada, where he was promoted from Regional Sales Manager to Director of New Business Ventures. Poitras has a BBA from the University of New Brunswick and an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto.
